Anshul Garg, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, chaired an important review meeting at the Spiritual Growth Centre in Katra to finalize the preparations for the Republic Day 2025 celebrations. The meeting, which was attended by senior officials from various government departments and security agencies, aimed to ensure a seamless and grand celebration of this national event.
The venue for the main Republic Day function has been set at the Shrine Board’s Sports Complex in Katra, where the CEO will unfurl the National Flag and take the salute during the ceremonial March Past. A cultural programme, featuring performances by local schoolchildren, will also be held to mark the occasion.
Emphasizing the significance of the event, Mr. Garg stressed the importance of timely and meticulous preparation to ensure that the Republic Day celebrations run smoothly. He highlighted the need for strict adherence to security protocols and seamless coordination among all stakeholders involved.
“The Republic Day celebrations are a significant occasion for the entire nation, and it is essential that we leave no stone unturned in ensuring that every detail is meticulously planned and executed,” said Mr. Garg. “From the venue preparations to security arrangements, everything must be aligned to provide a memorable and safe experience for all attendees.”
